It is straw yellow with greenish reflections, clean and bright. The nose is dominated by aromas loaded with minerality, balsamic noted and floral fragances. The entry in the mouth is powerful, with a fresh sensation. Good structure an balance, where notes of white fruit and minerals stand out, accompanied by an unctuous and silky sensation due to its work on the lees.

According to the legend, Mara Moura settled in the City of Medeiros with her lover. So voracious was the Moura that the people were starving. Finally, the inhabitants plucked up their courage and explained that they could not keep them any longer. Being of justice, Moura and her lover left the city. Grateful for the hospitality of the people, the Moura gave them a great gift: she gave them the vine to grow wine. Mara Moura is made from a selection of high altitude Godello vineyards from the D.O. Monterrei, with schist soils

Bodegas Martín Códax was founded in 1985 and was named after the most known Galician troubadour whose medieval poems, the oldest of Galician-Portuguese language with the original music, are preserved. In the poems, the troubadour sings to love and to the sea of our coastline.
