Ruby red color with intense aromas of ripe red and black cherries, vanilla and spices. Good acidity and full body. Excellent balance, great complexity and persistence finish.

The grapes are selected from the single vineyard Scarrone in Castiglione Falletto with a south-west exposure. The alcoholic fermentation is followed by a post-fermentation maceration with the skins. The wine is then racked and moved to barriques for malolactic fermentation. Aging: 18 months between stainless-steel, barriques and wooden barrels.

It was the end of the 1800s when Carlo Vietti created the Vietti winery in the heart of the Langhe, on the highest point of the medieval village of Castiglione Falletto, in the very same place where it is located today
