Intense red color with hints of garnet. On the nose, typical notes of plum, cherry and Morello cherry followed by tea leaves, licorice and spices. On the palate, notes of red berry fruit sweetened by soft notes of spices, in perfect balance with acidity.

The grapes come from the Tenuta Novare vineyards at Arbizzano di Negrar, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, with calcareous-marl soils, devoted exclusively to the production of Amarone. Grapes are dried in traditional drying rooms, without forcing temperature or humidity controls. Then they rest on racks for 78 days and are crushed in late November. Aged for 7 years in 50-100 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels
