This wine is pale straw in colour, with fragrant aromas of ripe stone fruit, elderflower and floral nuances. On the palate, this Viognier has an elegant structure with flavours of lime peel and apricot , with a lingering aromatic finish.

Winemaker Géraud Blanc supplements the estate fruit with grapes from 50 growers with whom he has long-term purchasing partnerships. Grapes for this Viognier were grown at high altitudes in Minervois, Béziers, Agde, Bédarieux, Montpellier, Nîmes and Cévennes, which give fresh, varietal aromas and elegance to the wine.

Michel Laroche purchased the Mas la Chevalière vineyards in 1995, following a 10-year search for a Languedoc site suited to Chardonnay. Located near Béziers, Michel made significant improvements to the vineyards and established the Mas la Chevalière winery there, which stands out for its innovative approach to energy management.
