It is a multi-faceted and intriguing red wine which combines the pleasure of tannin with an extraordinary persistence of taste. This version of a densely ruby coloured Merlot, so rich with the sweet juice of black currant and candied violet which alternates with thyme and lavender. 

Sito dell’Ulmo is a single-variety Merlot from a single vineyard. Years of experience helped identify on the banks of Lake Arancio, among the vines planted at Ulmo in 1987, the ideal place to obtain the best from this classic French variety.

Planeta is the story of a journey through time and space, through Sicily from west to east, and through the five areas where today we produce their wines, olive oils and the places of our family hospitality. A long journey which was chosen in order to protect the uniqueness of the environment, the countryside and the culture with the same respect with which to explore the characteristics of the terroirs and the vineyards, enhancing the specific details of each area.
