Ruby red colour. Complex aromas with sweet fruit, blackberries, figs, plums, and some liquorice. Barrel ageing brings spices, toffee and tobacco leaf. Velvet tanning on the palate with long elegant fruity finish with balsamic notes

The specially selected grapes for Cune Gran Reserva come from vineyards in Torrentalbo. The vines are 45 years old on average, head-trained and south and east facing, while the soils are clayey with pebbles.

The first wine produced by the company took its name from the initials CVNE. A fortuitous misspelling between the U and the V created the iconic Cune brand
