Clear and transparent ruby red. Raspberries, wild blackberries and blueberries, violet and menthol aromas. Elegant wine, great structure but very well balanced
This wine is produced with select grapes from proprietary vineyards and dried for 4 months in a controlled environment. The wine is obtained via natural arrest of fermentation and left to mature for 2 years in barrels made from Slavonian oak. This is a very fruity wine with great concentration and sustained by a good acidity, which together with a sweetness that is not cloying, makes it very suitable for many food pairings.
The first documents relating to the Tedeschi estate date back to the 17th century; since the 1630s, the family have worked within the region, shaping and influencing its vineyards and landscape. Today their association with Valpolicella, its terroirs and its leading wines is recognised worldwide. The Tedeschi winery is a premium family-owned and run winery producing renowned classic Veronese wines, including Valpolicella, Amarone, Ripasso and Soave.
