Straw yellow colour with slight golden tonalities. On the nose it’s a complex wine, we do not only find fruits such a pear, apple, white currant and white flowers but also dried fruits and spicy. On the palate we have salinity and an elegant acidity which provide freshness.
Monopole is Spain's oldest white wine brand. It has been produced since 1915. Monopole Clásico is the story of a remake after 40 years. Prepared in the same way as it was in the 1970s
The grapes used to produce Monopole Clasico are harvested from the Villalba de Rioja vineyard, over 5 hectares planted in calcareous soils 15 years ago with an east-facing aspect. The vines are trellis-trained to offer protection from the prevailing winds. At an altitude of over 600 metres.
The first wine produced by the company took its name from the initials CVNE. A fortuitous misspelling between the U and the V created the iconic Cune brand
