This wine is pale golden in colour with intense aromas of stone fruit and white flowers, intertwined with notes of vanilla and toast. The palate is powerful with layered notes of peach, lemon pith and golden pear balanced by bright acidity that drives the long, rich finish.

'Aux Chailloux' is a single vineyard with north-easterly exposure. The vines are rooted in clay-limestone soils at an altitude between 200 and 280 metres, around the village of Solutré. The `Aux Chailloux` comes from vines which are 72 years old on average. This single vineyard is a proposed premier cru site included in the future classication of Pouilly-Fuissé.

Domaine Corsin has established an excellent reputation for making wines in Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé since 1864. They were among the first to label wines as Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon Blanc. Today, the domaine is in its fifth generation, run by Jean-Jacques and Gilles Corsin who own 13.6 hectares of Chardonnay.
