Bright golden yellow in colour, this wine has a lovely, expressive nose full of citrus and yellow stone fruit aromas with touches of tropical notes. On the palate it shows good balance, with bright, ripe fruit flavours, delicate acidity and a smooth texture.

Grapes for this wine are partly taken from the estate's high-altitude Peyroli vineyard in the Orb Valley, which is situated 400 metres above sea level, and partly from the growers with whom winemaker Géraud Blanc has long-term purchasing partnerships.

Michel Laroche purchased the Mas la Chevalière vineyards in 1995, following a 10-year search for a Languedoc site suited to Chardonnay. Located near Béziers, Michel made significant improvements to the vineyards and established the Mas la Chevalière winery there, which stands out for its innovative approach to energy management.
