Straw yellow color. Intense aroma with fruity and floral hints that blend together in a wonderful union. The most intense hints are: ripe peach, apple, white pulped fruit, wildflowers and broom. Full and elegant taste.
The Collio’s hilly terrain. This soil type, called Flysch in Italian and Ponca in the Friulian dialect, is characterized by the stratification of marl and sandstone. It formed during the Eocene period and was once part of the ocean floor. The resulting soil is rich in minerals and, supported by an important temperature range, it lends sapidity and minerality to the wines and is ideal for white grape varietals
Marco Felluga, in Gradisca d’Isonzo, has the Lion of Saint Mark as its symbol: a tribute to the glorious past of the ancient town founded by the Most Serene Republic of Venice. Its vineyards are located in four different areas of the Collio: Farra d’Isonzo, San Floriano del Collio, Oslavia and Cormòns. The quality of its red and white wines comes from these vineyards
